American journalist Alex Coleman is a winner of an Emmy Award. He now co-anchors Live at 9 on Memphis, Tennessee-based WREG-TV (CBS). Over two decades have passed since Alex began working at WREG.

During the Lewis vs. Tyson fight, he claimed that the inauguration of President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C., had unique access to boxing champion Lennox Lewis.

He has served on the boards of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, the Fogelman YMCA, Latino Memphis, Memphis Music Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Boys and Girls Club of America.
