Angie Harmon is an American actress and model who signed up with IMG Models after winning the Seventeen modeling competition in 1987. She made her acting debut in the role of Ryan McBride on Baywatch Nights, and for her performance as Abbie Carmichael on Law & Order, she was nominated for four Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also had roles in several movies, such as Barbara Gordon in Batman Beyond: Agent Cody Banks features Ronica Miles and the Joker once more.

Harmon gained notoriety in the latter part of the 1990s when she appeared as ADA Abbie Carmichael on the NBC series Law & Order from 1998 to 2001. She also performed the role of Barbara Gordon in the animated Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, in which he takes over for Stockard Channing. Harmon won a Seventeen modeling contest in 1987 while working as a child model. She was a member of the Highland Belles while she was a student at Highland Park High School until 1990. She became well-known in the early 1990s after winning a Spectrum Model Search contest and subsequently pursuing a successful modeling career. She appeared on the covers of ELLE, Cosmopolitan, and Esquire as a runway model for Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, and Donna Karan. She is signed in New York City by IMG Models.

Harmon started acting in 1995 after David Hasselhoff found him on a plane. After that, she starred in Baywatch Nights and the brief C-16: FBI. She also made an appearance in the 1998 film Lawn Dogs, which was only shown in select theaters.

She had a supporting role in Agent Cody Banks (2003), playing the CIA handler of a teenage agent played by Frankie Muniz, following her appearance in the direct-to-video film Good Advice in 2001. Harmon starred alongside Cuba Gooding Jr. and James Woods in End Game, a direct-to-DVD political suspense drama, in 2006. She also played Rose in Seraphim Falls, an acclaimed Western.

Harmon starred in the ABC pilot Secrets of a Small Town in 2006, which was not picked up for a series.
