Bonang Matheba Books

From A to B, Matheba’s autobiography, which was written by Black Bird Books’ Thabiso Mahlape, was published on June 7, 2017. The public in South Africa gave the book bad press, with many criticizing it on social media for its numerous spelling, grammatical, and factual errors. The book was removed from store shelves by the huge book retailer Exclusive Books as a result of the public outcry. It was later replaced by a second edition that fixed many of the mistakes that had been made before.

Bonang Matheba House

Matheba lives in Midrand, close to the Mall of Africa, in the tranquil Waterfall Country Estate. Joanne Reynolds created the exquisite house with three bedrooms that is on a fairly large compound. She brought the idea of exposed timber, steel, a staircase, and concrete walls to life, giving Queen B’s palace a warm and natural aesthetic feel. Jessica Hofmeyr, an interior designer, was responsible for bringing Bonang’s house’s interior design to life.

According to reports, it has a swimming pool, a patio, a garden, and other executive features. Bonang Matheba’s house’s interior design blends with her personal style, which can be described as luxurious, contemporary, and elegant. The spacious living room uses a simple color scheme of white, a variety of soft greys, and dark blue. The walls are painted white, the carpet and furniture are dark, and the throw pillows have prints of white and grey.

The plain white walls are broken up by a collection of photographs. In order to tell a story, the photos are strategically placed. For instance, the photos that line the staircase are arranged in a descending order, starting with pictures of her when she was a teenager and working their way up to more recent ones. The house has a lot of glass windows that let in a lot of light, naturally lighting the rooms, and large glass windows that lead outside to a lovely patio and a swimming pool. Bonang’s outdoor patio furniture follows the same black-and-white color scheme as the indoor pieces and incorporates a variety of prints and patterns.

Bonang Matheba House of BNG

Matheba launched “The House of BNG,” a luxury Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) collection exclusively with Woolworths on March 18, 2019. She became the first black woman to join the Méthode Cap Classique Association as a result of the project.
