She joins Sacramento from the Land of Enchantment and is Proud to continue her career in the Hearst Television family. She spent the last three years anchoring and reporting for KOAT-TV in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Most currently, she anchored the 4 p.m. evening news. Brittany is extensively involved with the New Mexico Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and emceed multiple events for the organization. She also recognized by the New Mexico Department of Transportation for her reporting on child car seat safety.
Prior to her time in the land of green and red chile, Brittany received her Bachelor’s degree from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and minored in Musical Theatre. (she can’t wait to check out all the Broadway shows that make their way through Sacramento!). Brittany graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors and the recipient of the Outstanding Broadcast and Digital Journalism Scholar Award. She is incredibly proud to return back in her home state. Hope is also a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Hope anchored the 4:00 p.m. newscast, rated #1 in the timeslot as of December 2020; main evening fill-in anchor. She also anchored the weekend morning show; rated #1 newscast in the timeslot. Brittany regularly holds the #1 social media following and interaction rate of any news talent in New Mexico. Hope reported for the morning, dayside, and evening newscasts. She turned in two separate stories on each dayside shift.
Hope also delivered Annenberg TV News’ 30-minute broadcast on a weekly basis. Additionally, she pitched, shot, wrote, and live reported day-of-air packages for the television broadcast and social channels. Brittany traveled to Las Vegas to cover the 2017 Route 91 Harvest Music Festival shooting. She also selected by Annenberg faculty to moderate a discussion and interview with NBC News anchor Lester Holt for 30 selected Annenberg students to attend in November 2017. She is executive Produced Annenberg Media’s entertainment news show, “The Buzz”
