American photographer and artist Chris Burkard lives on the Central Coast of California. He captures images of outdoor, travel, surf, lifestyle, and landscape subjects.

Burkard creates editorial projects using a photojournalistic method and a variety of mediums. To capture situations that are humanizing, he uses natural light.
