David Ibiyeomie is a pastor, author, televangelist, and televangelist from Nigeria. He is also the founder and presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, which has its headquarters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Ibiyeomie started a house fellowship with his family in Victoria Island, Lagos, after completing his Bible School education at Bishop David Oyedepo’s Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI). Following that, he relocated to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, where, on April 13, 1997, he established Salvation Ministries (Glorious Chapel) with a little more than twenty attendees.

The church moved to a larger piece of land in July 1997. Salvation Ministries had approximately 50,000 Sunday attendees on average at its headquarters as of 2017. In a single day in February 2011, Salvation Ministries established 14 satellite churches, each with five services.

Ibiyeomie reaches millions of worshippers through live services and his television ministry Hour of Salvation. The Hour of Salvation TV show first aired on NTA channel 10 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, in 2001. It is now broadcast on more than 40 local and international television stations. Ibiyeomie has been disputable on numerous events. In January 2017, Ibiyeomie was asserted to have offered biased remarks against the Ogoni public, driving the Development for the Endurance of the Ogoni Nation to request that he apologize.

In Walk 2017, columnist Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo affirmed that Ibiyeomie was taking part in an extramarital entanglements with Nollywood entertainer Iyabo Ojo. Olunloyo was hence captured and declined bail for criticism. Anyway she has been delivered. Ibiyeomie firmly denied the claims.
