David Yeomans is an American Two-time Emmy Award-winning Meteorologist. He is currently the Weekday Morning Meteorologist for NBC affiliate KXAN-TV in Austin, Texas since June 2012.

Yeomans is an American Three-time Emmy Award-winning Meteorologist. He has been fascinated with the weather for as long as he can remember. By the fourth grade, he checked out stacks of meteorology books from the public library, gathering as much knowledge as he could. A year after that, he became a registered storm spotter and kept climate records for the National Weather Service office.

He studied meteorology at the University of Miami. While his time at the summer after his first year in Miami, he returned home to Austin to intern in the KXAN weather department under Jim Spencer. During his college career, he also held internships at Spectrum News in Austin and CBS4 Miami.

After Hurricane Katrina ravaged New Orleans in 2005, David aided to rebuild the upper-Ninth Ward neighborhood with Habitat for Humanity, working as an assistant carpenter.
