Don Jazzy is a record producer from Nigeria. Mavin Records’ founder and chief executive officer is him. Together with D’banj, Don Jazzy co-owned the now-defunct record label Mo’ Hits Records.

He is the son of Mrs. Ajereh and Collins Enebeli Ajereh. His father is from Delta State’s Isoko. His father is of the Isoko people, and his mother is an Igbo princess from the state of Abia. Don Jazzy was raised in Ajegunle, Lagos, where Ajereh’s family moved. In 2000, Snazzy’s uncle welcomed him to play the drums for a neighborhood church in London and that was his most memorable visit to London. He has three siblings; D’Prince, Joy Solano, and James Enebeli Collins.

Don Jazzy Mavin

Mavin Records was Jazzy’s new record label, which he announced on May 7, 2012. “I see Mavin Records being the powerhouse of music in Africa in the shortest possible time” was what he stated. He released an album with the artists signed to his label on May 8, 2012. The album contained the following songs: Amarachi, “Forever,” “Oma Ga,” “Take Banana and Chocolate,” and “YOLO” are among the songs. Tiwa Savage was signed by Mavin Records as a singer. To complement and promote his label, Jazzy developed the social network platform “Marvin League.”

Ajereh got into a fight with an artist on November 5, 2013, Wande Coal, who left the label two days later. With Di’Ja and Reekado Banks, Ajereh produced the Nigerian social activist song “Arise” in September 2014.

Ajereh argued with Olamide at the 2015 Headies Awards. When it came to who ought to have won the “Next Rated” award, the two were at odds. Reekado Banks, Ajereh’s artist, destroyed Lil Kesh of YBNL’s records. A car was given to the award winner. After that, apology messages were posted by both parties.
