Edwin Barry “Ed” Young is an American Pastor, Best-selling author, Speaker, Artist, and the founder of Fellowship Church.

During his sophomore year at Florida State University, Young was called into the ministry. He soon returned to Houston, Texas, to attend the Baptist University of Houston and to serve as an associate pastor at his father’s church. With an international ministry that involves televised broadcasting, Ed Young Television, C3 Global, the C3 Conference, and Fellowship Live, he is a New York Times and Amazon Best-Selling author.

Ed Young Church | Ministries

Young launched Fellowship Church out of a leased office complex in February 1990, before moving to an arts center. In 1996, Fellowship Church relocated to MacArthur High School in Irving to accommodate five-weekend services and a 5,000 weekly attendance. Fellowship Church opened its first permanent facility in 1998 in Grapevine, Texas, on a 141-acre (0.57 sq km) property.

Fellowship Church opened its first two satellite locations in Plano and Fort Worth, TX in 2003. Two years later, a third satellite campus was launched in Dallas, TX. Between the four locations, there was more than 20,000 weekly attendance. In May 2006, in South Miami, FL, Fellowship Church opened a satellite campus; in 2017, North Port Florida. Journey Church in Norman, OK became Fellowship Church, Norman in August 2018.

Fellowship Church held the first summer camp and retreat center at Allaso Ranch in 2008 in Hawkins, TX. Over the years, prominent guests have been hosted by Ed Young and Fellowship Church, including Troy Aikman, Tony Romo, Duck Dynasty’s Willie and Korie Robertson, Rev Run, Chris Kyle, Marcus Luttrell, and Oliver North.

Ed Young Outreach

Fellowship Church and C3 Global began to demonstrate relief when the country of Haiti was hit by an earthquake in 2010, providing nearly 11 million meals to date. FC hosts an annual retreat for Gold Star families with America’s Mighty Warriors in conjunction with C3 Global, with past guests Rick Perry, Glenn Beck, and Mike Huckabee. With God Behind Bars, Fellowship Church opened its first prison campus in 2016. Since then, it has opened 2 more prison campuses. Fellowship Church participated in the recovery of aid for those affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
