She joins us from our sister station, WLUC, in Marquette, Michigan. This Massachusetts native attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and graduated in 2019 with B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Natural Resource Conservation.
Elissa acts as a one-woman band to go shoot, write, and edit stories for both TV6 and FOX UP newscasts. 2 VOS and 1 PKG requirement per day. She also pitches story ideas daily. Furthermore, she sent out breaking news as necessary. She also serves as the face of the station at community events on an as-needed basis.
Borden alternates with the existing FOX anchor, produce and anchor the 10 o’clock news. Additionally, she oversees the input of all stories, checks the video, uses VizRT to make lower-thirds and graphics. She input camera shots at various points in the newsroom and ensure that the timing of the show will fall within the proper window.
