Erin’s first work as a meteorologist was together with KOMU-TV, She served as a weekend evening meteorologist right after she graduated. Later she joined WOI-TV in Des Moines, Iowa as a weekday morning Meteorologist & Reporter.
She later moved to KMBC-TV in Kansas City, Missouri, accompanied by a year at KDVR – FOX31 prior to returning back to KMBC. After working for a good ten years at KMBC, She left in January 2017. Little became a director at the Shawnee Mission School Board heading district communications operations.
She had a love for broadcasting that was not dimmed and She is back in the air, as a reporter and meteorologist for the KCTV5 News team in March 2018. On her return to the former television station, She said she was “so excited to be back delivering Kansas City’s weather. Erin likes the fact that she is part of people’s morning routine and assisting them to prepare for the day together with her weather reports. She received an Emmy Award in 2006 whilst with KMBC.
