Pascale came to the WXII 12 News family in December 2020 as an Anchor and Reporter. Before, Jackie served at another Hearst-owned station, WPTZ in Burlington, Vermont. During her time there, she covered a wide range of stories, including racial justice issues and winter storms, besides trying new Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors on live TV with the company’s CEO.
Jackie is widely known for training for her first marathon and eventually completing the 26.2 miles live TV. Jackie is no stranger to the Carolinas. She graduated from Elon University with a journalism degree. Pascale is originally from Philadelphia. She spent her summers in college interning for local stations, including 69 News and NBC10 Philadelphia. Jackie has spent 2.5 years at WPTZ as a multimedia reporter and fill-in anchor, developing her storytelling skills, social media engagement, and on-air personality.
She produced PKGs, VOSOT/VOs, and write scripts for our newscasts, including live TV & radio broadcasts, and web articles. Jackie also assisted in production with studio positions such as floor director, camera, audio, and teleprompter. She also worked as an evening Broadcast Anchor-August 2015-May 2016.
