Jason comes to Channel 9 Eyewitness News as a General Assignment Reporter in September 2006. For seven years, Jason’s reported on Charlotte-Mecklenburg civic and government issues besides the impact these have on the community. In September 2013, Jason advanced to Action 9 reporter to replace long-time Charlotte consumer investigator Don Griffin when he retired after 31 years at Channel 9.

Jason is not a visitor to North Carolina. He reported for three years with WRAL-TV in Raleigh. Furthermore, he has covered events in Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, and Pinehurst.
