Jay Towers Biography
Jay Towers is an American TV News anchor serving at Fox 2 TV in Detroit and also as a morning radio host for iHeart Media in Michigan. At the age of 14, he began his broadcasting tour at WJRZ, in Toms Rivers, New Jersey.
He landed on his first full-time radio show at WAYV in Atlantic City, then at Boss 97 when he turned 18. Shortly after his 20th birthday, he left the Jersey Shore and became one of the youngest Program Directors in America at WMAX in Grand Rapids. One year later, in Detroit, he helped launch 93.1 WDRQ. In the summer of 1997, he was called back to the east coast to serve as Music Director and afternoon host at Q102 in Philadelphia but was so loyal to the city of Detroit that he returned to 93.1 DRQ in 1999 to host ‘Jay Towers and the Morning Revolution’ until 2005.

Every morning on WNIC 100.3 with Allyson and Chelsea, he continues to host ‘Jay Towers in the morning.’ He was blessed by radio and television with the opportunity to provide a big platform every day in Detroit. He is proud to be a part of the innumerable charitable activities throughout the year, but he just wanted to make something personal using his voice.

Since they started Jay’s Juniors, he has been fortunate enough to take over 100 families on trips at Christmas time. Although some of their Juniors have sadly passed away, our families hold on to some of the most special memories ever from time together.
