Jeff Adam Zucker is an American media executive who previously worked as NBC Universal’s President and CEO. Zucker worked at Columbia Business School as an executive in residence. In November 2012, after Jim Walton’s term, Zucker was selected to take over as the president of CNN Worldwide in January 2013. CNN, CNN International, HLN, and CNN Digital are supervised by Zucker.

Adam was a field producer for Today in 1989, and in 1992 he became its executive producer at 26. He launched the signature outdoor rock concert sequence of the program and was in charge as Today relocated to Studio 1A in Rockefeller Plaza in 1994, “window on the globe.” During its most prosperous years, he is credited with overseeing the show and launching it into its 16-years of rating supremacy.

Las Vegas, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Scrubs were introduced by Zucker. He pioneered the idea of airing “Supersized” episodes of NBC comedies (longer than the regular 30-minute slot) and actively programming in the summer months as cable networks started to lure audiences with original programming from the rerun-filled summer slate of the network. Bravo moved its programming direction towards reality television success, while the newly acquired Spanish network Telemundo was positioned to be more competitive with Univision’s leading network.
Zucker also became president of NBC’s Entertainment, News & Cable Group in December 2003. Following the merger with Vivendi Universal, the French media giant, he became president of the TV division in May 2004.
