Jeffrey Sebelia is a fashion designer from America who founded the clothing label Cosa Nostra from a loft on Broadway in downtown Los Angeles. He won the third season of the American reality show Project Runway, which made him famous.

Sebelia auditioned for the Bravo show Project Runway in the spring of 2006 after observing his friend, former contestant Santino Rice,’s success. Jeffrey was chosen to compete, was one of the final four to exhibit their collections at Fashion Week, and was declared the winner. He had been portrayed as the “villain” of the third season. He was known for using vulgar language and making the mother of fellow contestant Angela Keslar cry when he worked with her on a challenge.
Sebelia’s final winning collection was markedly different from the grunge, punk, and rock ‘n’ roll-style outfits he had created throughout the season, with bright colors, flowing dresses, and smart separates. His prizes included a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster, $100,000 to start his own clothing line, a year of representation from Designer’s Management Agency, and a 15-page spread in ELLE magazine with Marilinda Rivera, the model he teamed up with for most of the Project Runway challenges.

Sebelia enrolled at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College for sewing classes. He started the clothing company Cosa Nostra shortly after, and he immediately fell in love with design there. Dave Navarro, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Marilyn Manson, Elton John, Madonna, and Tommy Lee were among the label’s celebrity clients. Around twenty retail establishments around the world carried the Cosa Nostra label.

La Miniatura is a collection for kids that takes inspiration from post-punk from the late 1970s to the early 1980s and reimagines it through the lens of current trends and traditional details. Jeffrey Sebelia Tattoo
Sebelia’s son Harrison was the inspiration for his signature neck tattoo, which took more than eight hours to complete. “Harrison Detroit l’amor de la mia vita” is written on the tattoo. In Italian, it is the name of his son and the expression “the love of my life.” However, there is a mistake in the tattoo; “l’amore della mia vita” is the correct translation.
