Jim and his team’s serve on the special were nominated for an Emmy.
“It was really a highlight for me to have the opportunity to travel to Argentina and learn more about the man myself. He was happy to be a part of a special that gave viewers an inside look at Pope Francis’s early life in Argentina in preparation for his historic visit to Philadelphia.
Jim also reported from hurricane-ravaged Puerto Rico, the Middle East during the conflicts between Israelis and Palestinians in Gaza, and was the only local anchor to report live from Paris within 24 hours of the terror attacks there in November 2015.
