Kellie Meyer is the newest addition to NewsNation’s Washington D.C. Bureau. Meyer joined NewsNation from Nexstar’s Washington D.C. Bureau and brings extensive experience in reporting on politics and policy from Capitol Hill and beyond. As a Washington Correspondent, Kellie will provide viewers with breaking news coverage of events on Capitol Hill, as well as exclusive interviews with lawmakers about matters of national importance.
Kellie Meyer is no stranger to the newsroom. The veteran reporter spent 14 months reporting on the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria in the US Virgin Islands for the CBS affiliate in the area. After her time in the Caribbean, she joined Nexstar Media Group as a multi-platform journalist and has since then been working with numerous media outlets to cover stories around the world.
She worked with the Gray Television and Lilly Broadcasting Washington D.C. Bureau covering the 2016 election before leaving for the islands.
