Staying close to home, she graduated with a Master’s of Arts degree in Public Affairs Reporting (PAR) at the University of Illinois Springfield. Kelsey began her reporting career at WCIA-TV (CBS) in Champaign, Illinois working primarily in the Capitol Bureau.
She produces on-air promos for station programming and news. Gibbs also writes, shoots, and edits topical teases, syndicated topicals, assist in the production of news image promotion as assigned by the Promotions Manager, and scheduling PSA inventory. She also fills promotion, inventory on daily traffic logs. Furthermore, she assists with the setup and staffing of station-sponsored events and promotions.
