Kent was not occupying his usual morning stories post this week has gotten information from the station. The station noted on its Facebook page that he will be off the media for many weeks after undergoing surgery for skin cancer on his eyelid.
The post communicated a message from him, which read in part: “First off, thank you to everyone for their good wishes. The tumor was a little more extensive than we hoped. I was in surgery for about three hours and awake for most of it!”
