Mary Jean “Lily” Tomlin is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She began as a stand-up comedian as well as performing off-Broadway, then she starred on the NBC Show, Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In from 1969 until 1973.
She is a fantastic actor and currently plays Frankie Bergstein – a character on the Netflix series Grace and Frankie. Her work in this show has earned her four Emmy Award nominations, three SAG Awards, and a Golden Globe nomination.
