Mark Kiesling is an American journalist, anchor, and reporter currently co-anchoring the WSIL weekday evening newscasts with Victoria Idoni at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 10 p.m. He has had over 40 years of anchoring the news at WSIL since joining in 1981. He has also worked as a studio camera, master control operator, news graphics creator, promotions editor, and commercial voice-over artist.

Kiesling was married to his wife Deborah Colleen “Debbie” Kiesling. The couple tied the knot on May 15, 1982, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. His wife Debbie died on June 25, 2018, at Doctor’s Nursing and Rehab Center in Salem, Illinois. She was diagnosed with a spinal cord tumor in 1985, underwent two major surgeries, and also suffered from a heart problem.
Debbie worked at the Sollami Company in Herrin until 1985. She later worked as an administrative assistant at the Southern Illinois Center for Independent Living until 2014. She most recently enjoyed spending time caring for her family.
Debbie was an active member of the Community of Faith Church in Marion. She served the church body as an Elders wife and was instrumental in organizing food for events held at the church. His wife had a passion for cooking and baking and was well known for her Lemon Meringue Pie. She enjoyed spending what little free time she had with her husband, doting on her children and nieces and nephews. Debbie was always smiling and was a courageous fighter. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Imprint covered southern Illinois sports as WSIL Sports Director for almost 17 years. During that time, the Southern Illinois Coaches Association gave him the Merle Jones Award for exceptional news coverage.
The imprint left WSIL in September of 1999 to fill in as a staff part for the Southern Illinois Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Almost three years after the fact, he came back to WSIL and has again worn numerous caps. Other than anchoring the nightly news, his obligations have included news advancements, head of web tasks, and unique undertakings.
