She started her career at WNDS in Derry, New Hampshire where she worked as the general assignment reporter and news anchor.
She was later promoted to a news anchor covering the stations covering the New Hampshire and Boston markets for two evening newscasts. She then went to work at the WTVO affiliate of ABC in Rockford, Illinois, as the morning anchor. She went on to anchor again at 5.6 and 10 p.m. For almost 4 years, newscasts.
