Matt Stewart is a man of many talents! He’s an Emmy award-winning anchor/reporter who joined the FOX4 Morning Show in September 2012. Not only that, but he’s also a published author, having written two novels and a guide to Kansas City food called “Unique Eats and Eateries of Kansas City”. I mean, who knew that someone could be so passionate about food that they would write an entire book about it?

And get this, Matt is also a former football player! He played safety and special teams for the Northwestern Wildcats, helping them rise from the bottom of the Big Ten to two consecutive championships. He even wrote a book about his experiences called “The Walk-On”. I guess you could say Matt really knows how to tackle life!

Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Matt always dreamed of working in Kansas City. He worked at various television stations before finally landing at FOX4 in 2012.
