Given the success of their partnership, Nina and Mark Birley, the proprietor of the club, teamed together in 1970 to launch Campbell & Birley, a store in London that specialized in “unashamed luxury.” The “hearts” design, which has been Nina’s trademark since she debuted it in this location, is still readily available on a variety of excellent bone china pieces.
