Felder recorded a demo with singer/songwriter Sterling Simms while he was at Georgia Tech. This led to a meeting with L.A. Reid, and in 2005, Felder wrote and produced a track on an album by Mariah Carey. In the year 2009, Pop Wansel and Felder formed the production team Pop & Oak. “Your Love,” the lead single from Nicki Minaj’s 2010 debut studio album Pink Friday, was their first major hit.
