Reekado Banks Biography
Reekado Banks is a singer and songwriter from Nigeria who in 2014, signed with Mavin Records, but he left the company in 2018. Before signing a record deal with Mavin Records, he performed under the stage name Spicy. At The Headies in 2014, Reekado Banks won Rookie of the Year, and at The Headies in 2015, he won the controversial Next Rated award. On September 1, 2016, his first studio album, Spotlight, was released; It made its debut on the Billboard World Albums chart at position 10.

Reekado Banks Career
His brother submitted some of his songs to Mavin Records in an online talent search, which led to his record deal. After his entry was chosen from among more than 5,000 entries, Reekado Banks was signed to Mavin Records. He claimed that his brother submitted his songs and communicated with the label on his behalf without first getting his permission in an interview with the National Mirror. Reekado Banks also stated to the National Mirror that he is a versatile artist who creates music with the idea that people are unique and have different preferences.
On February 21, 2014, the day that Reekado Banks signed with Mavin Records, the single “Turn It Up” was released. The song, which features Tiwa Savage, was released as Mavin Records’ first official single. He also said that Banks Music, his own business, was going to start. According to the Vanguard newspaper in September 2019, Reekabo Banks fired Temi Solomon, his older brother, as his manager. He put out the single “Ozumba Mbadiwe” in 2021.
