Robert A. Schuller born as Robert Anthony Schuller is an American best-selling author, televangelist, motivational speaker and pastor.
He was formerly a minister on the Hour of Power weekly television program broadcast from the Crystal Cathedral in Orange County, California. Since 1976, he has appeared on the program almost every week. He was installed in January 2006 as the senior pastor. He resigned as senior pastor on November 29, 2008, according to the Hour of Power website. With Robert Schuller Ministries, he continues his ministry.

He attended high school in Santa Ana. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Ancient Civilization from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, in 1976. He was also working at the Crystal Cathedral, on Sunday nights, leading worship services, establishing a 24-hour prayer group, coordinating small group fellowships, reading scripture, and sometimes preaching on the Hour of Strength.
In 1980, after earning a Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, Schuller became an ordained minister in the Reformed Church in America. In 1996, he received an honorary doctorate degree from San Jose, California’s National Hispanic University. In 2008, he received another honorary doctorate from the California Graduate School of Theology.

In 1981, in San Juan Capistrano, California, Schuller founded the Rancho Capistrano Community Church, where he served as senior pastor for over 20 years. Schuller presented a one-hour live coast to coast radio show from 1995 to 2000. The show revolved around health and wellbeing, including Larry King, Robert Atkins, and Elizabeth Dole, and featured a variety of guest stars.
His father revealed on October 25, 2008, that Schuller had been suspended from the television program Hour of Control, citing ‘a lack of mutual vision.’ Founder Robert H. Schuller claimed in a prepared statement that “different ideas about the course and vision for this ministry” with his son “made it appropriate … to part ways in the ministry of the Hour of Power television.” On November 29, 2008, it was subsequently revealed that Schuller had resigned from his position as the Crystal Cathedral’s senior pastor.

Shortly thereafter, to continue to invent and patent innovative technology, the company formed Youtoo Technology, LLC.
Comstar Media Fund, LP was renamed Youtoo Media Fund in 2011, LP and the organization launched Youtoo TV, the world’s first interactive TV network. The fund has divested all cable networks since 2011 and is concentrating on monetizing the portfolio of patents and interactive innovations.
