She then began acting professionally in 1997, with her first film role as Howard Stern’s daughter in Private Parts. In 1999, she played Molly in the musical comedy film “Annie,” and Maddie Healy in Lipstick Jungle on NBC.
She appeared in an Olive Garden commercial alongside actress Molly Culver, and she also played the young Jacqueline Bouvier in Grey Gardens on Broadway. She was cast as Haley Dunphy on the ABC sitcom Modern Family, a role she has held since 2009.
