Throughout the entirety of the Project Runway show, he spoke in the third person. Contestants were given the task of designing a red carpet look for “young Hollywood” in the second episode, “Grass is Always Greener,” but they were not allowed to purchase their own fabrics. The models of each contestant went to Mood Fabrics and picked out the fabrics that the designers would use to make their outfits. Suede prevailed in this challenge, which was partially judged by Natalie Portman, an actress and guest judge. This dress was made and sold on Bluefly.com in over 250 pieces.
