Bell, a retired Chief Judge of the Maryland Court of Appeals, before becoming a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice. Hostin became a federal prosecutor with a focus on child sex crimes after leaving the Antitrust Division. A Special Achievement Award was presented to Hostin for her success in prosecuting sexual offenders. In addition, Hostin held the position of Managing Director of Business Intelligence and Investigations at Kroll, the most prominent risk-consulting firm in the world. In this position, she oversaw teams of investigators working worldwide to investigate and uncover fraud.
