Tami Roman is an actress, model, businesswoman, and television personality from the United States. Roman gained notoriety initially on The Real World: 1993 saw Los Angeles. Roman rose to prominence on VH1’s Basketball Wives after making cameo appearances and starring in supporting roles in a variety of films and television shows in the 1990s and 2000s.

When she appeared on The Real World: Roman started Reality, her own R&B girl group quartet, in Los Angeles. Roman was one of the group’s four members and the group’s rapper. The group also signed a record deal with Mercury Records at the same time.

The song was called “Prisoner Of Your Love,” but Tami said the producer they worked with was hard to work with, hard to please, and hard to please. The group stopped working together with him, and the song never got recorded. Roman changed the group’s name from Reality to Female in 1994, while the group was still under contract with Mercury Records. The opportunity to record the remake of R&B singer Joi’s song “Freedom” for the Panther soundtrack album was presented to the group along with other African-American girl groups.
En Vogue, SWV, TLC, For Real, Xscape, Brownstone, Y’N-Vee, and Changing Faces were among the other R&B girl groups featured in the song. Numerous solo female African-American artists and female rappers were also featured in the song. The second song that the group performed on that soundtrack was a cover version of the hit song “If I Were Your Woman” by Gladys Knight and the Pips. Only the group provided the backing vocals, and Shanice, a solo artist, sang the lead. The final and third song on the soundtrack, Female, was a cover of Aretha Franklin’s legendary soul hit “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman.” Monique Johnson, Donyell Floyd, and Carlett Martin were the names of the other three girls in the group. The group didn’t do much else after the soundtrack, and they never put out an album.
Roman became even more well-known when she played the dealer on the 2001 revival of Card Sharks, as well as on a number of other shows, like an episode of One on One (season 3, episode 4) and BET’s original television show “the Parker’s,” where she played Dina (season 1, episode 14). Roman joined the main cast of the VH1 reality show Basketball Wives in 2010. She was then cast in the Basketball Wives LA spinoff, which debuted in 2015 with the fourth season. Two episodes of the CBS show Extant featured Roman. Roman was also on Tami Roman’s Love Talk & Hot Jamz with Reggie Youngblood and advice columnist and rapper Willie D of the Geto Boys. On Marriage Boot Camp, Roman and her boyfriend Reggie Youngblood appeared: The third season of Reality Stars, which debuted on May 29, 2015, Roman is working on her cosmetic lines and hair. In 2018, Roman produced a scripted series for TIDAL based on the “Bonnet Chronicles” series of Instagram videos.
