Ewing began her career in Flint Michigan, where she worked at WNEM as an anchor and reporter. She reported news reports about an illegal city home building scheme, the brutal murder and assassination case of four-year – old Dominick Calhoun and even former vice president Joe Biden.
Following Flint, Ewing moved to KTXL in Sacramento , California where she began as a reporter. She ‘d been promoted to anchor and reporter after a few months. Ewing spent nearly her last year as an evening anchor on KTXL Fox 40. She also became famous as the dancing anchor in 2012, during her tenure in Sacramento.She went viral for dancing during a commercial break.
In 2015, Ewing joined WOIO in Cleveland, Ohio for two years where she worked as a morning anchor. While in Cleveland, she was nominated for a NATAS Lower Great Lakes Chapter Emmy for Team Coverage for the Republican National Convention in 2015.
