Tina Wesson Survivor
Wesson first appeared on the show in the second season, Survivor: The Australian Outback. Wesson, as a member of the Ogakor tribe, was not targeted at the start of the game because he seemed to get along well with all of the contestants and was not viewed as a physical liability. Although Wesson’s alliance with Amber Brkich, Colby Donaldson, Jerri Manthey, and Mitchell Olson caused the Ogakor tribe to lose the second immunity challenge, she was able to vote out Kel Gleason and Maralyn “Mad Dog” Hershey. When they lost immunity again, Wesson persuaded Donaldson and Keith Famie to force a tie between Olson (who was aligned with Brkich and Manthey) and Famie, in which Mitchell would be voted off due to a previous vote cast against him.

Wesson and the four remaining Ogakors all joined forces. With only six contestants remaining, the main faction of the now Ogakor four banded together with Rodger Bingham and Elisabeth Filarski to vote out Manthey’s old ally Brkich. At the next two tribal councils, Donaldson and Famie defeated Bingham and then Filarski. In the final immunity challenge, Donaldson continued his winning streak and ultimately chose to sit next to Wesson rather than the more despised Famie at the final Tribal Council. Wesson was the first female Sole Survivor after a 4-3 vote that included votes from Famie, Filarski, Manthey, and Alicia Calloway. Wesson was 40 at the time, so she held the record for the oldest female Survivor winner for 11 years (23 seasons, ten female winners) until Denise Stapley, 41, won Survivor: Philippines in 2012.
Tina Wesson All-Stars
She returned to the game during the All-Star break. Wesson was immediately targeted for being a previous winner because he was a member of the Saboga tribe that lost the first immunity. Wesson was the first player to be voted off the show on Day Three. She came in 18th place.
Tina Wesson Blood vs. Water
Wesson returned to the game for the third time on the show’s 27th season, Survivor: Blood vs. Water, alongside her daughter Katie Collins, who previously appeared in The Australian Outback’s loved ones challenge. Wesson was initially assigned to the Galang tribe, which defeated the Tadhana tribe in four out of five immunity challenges, and she was initially in the majority alliance. Wesson was voted out after the merge because he was not in the majority alliance, and he consistently competed on Redemption Island for a chance to re-enter the game. She won the final Redemption Island duel and returned to the game, defeating Laura Morett and Hayden Moss, but was voted out on day 38, becoming the eighth and final member of the jury, where she voted for the eventual winner, Tyson Apostol.
