She joins Sacramento from WISN-TV, the Hearst Television station in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she anchored the weekend evening shows and reported during the week.
Before Milwaukee, Toni worked in Joplin, Missouri for more than eight years. She started as the weekend weather anchor, and a few years later, became the evening anchor and host of an afternoon lifestyle show. Toni worked as a field anchor during the Joplin tornado in May 2011, which plowed through the heart of the city, killing 161 people and destroying more than 8,000 properties. She interviewed numerous newsmakers and celebrities in the aftermath of the EF-5 tornado.
She has also covered the presidential visits of George W. Bush in 2008 and Barack Obama in 2011.
