Uma Devi Pemmaraju is an American anchor and host on the cable network Fox News Channel. Pemmaraju, who was raised in San Antonio, Texas, is currently a host/anchor for New York’s Fox News Channel, “America’s Entertainment Headquarters w/Uma Pemmaraju.”

They moved from Rajahmundry, India, along with her parents at the age of 6 to San Antonio. They were the only San Antonio Indians, then in Texas, and one of the only Indian families. Pemmaraju is the anchor of Um Pemmaraju at America’s News Headquarters. In October 1996 Pemmaraju joined Fox News Channel and was part of the original team. She interviewed a variety of famous people during her tenure at Fox News, including the Dalai Lama, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Joel Osteen, Carly Simon, Donald Trump, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sarah Palin. Pemmaraju also works for Bloomberg News aside from working at Fox News.
