Prior to KABC-TV, Christiane has spent three years with WCCO-TV in Minneapolis/St Paul. She worked as the first television reporter to speak on camera with the Minneapolis mayor and MPD chief. Following George Floyd’s murder, and covered 10 days straight of the unrest that followed.
When Derek Chauvin’s verdict was read, Christiane stood among the crowd of people gathered outside of the Hennepin County courthouse and shared their raw, live perspective. Christiane also worked on the first COVID-19 vaccines arriving in the state, Jayme Closs’ escape from captivity, and the Minnesota State Fair.
Before the Twin Cities, Christiane reported for WVIT-TV in Hartford, Connecticut. She aided to launch and lead its consumer investigative unit, NBC Responds, which recovered more than $250,000 for viewers.
