Justin Lum is an award-winning investigative reporter who reports for FOX 10. Before that, he worked for nearly two years for the CBS / NBC affiliated duopoly in Fresno, CA.
Justin Lum is a reporter for Fox 10 who covers local crime, courts, and justice. He talks to people who have been affected by crime and helps share their stories with the public.
One of the cases Justin covered that became national news was the Lori Vallow/Chad Daybell case. Two kids from Arizona were missing, and Justin worked hard to uncover every detail of the investigation. Unfortunately, the investigation ended with a grim discovery. Justin’s reporting on this case earned him a regional Emmy award in 2021.

Lum reported on major stories during his time in California’s central valley, including the brutal murder of Newman Police Corporal Ronil Singh. Justin had traveled to Napa Valley in 2017 to cover the destructive wildfires in Northern California. He also recorded on Hurricane Lane’s strong warning to many station affiliates approach the Hawaiian islands in August 2018.
Before coming to Fresno, Justin got his start in TV news as a one-man-band reporter and weekend sports anchor for KEPR in Pasco, WA. This hybrid role taught him how to enterprise his own story ideas consistently and showed him how much important hyper-local news/sports matters to communities.
