This reality television show pits fashion designers against one another to win prizes like a design mentorship with Banana Republic, seed money to start their own line, and more. Verreos completed in fifth spot in the opposition. In the third episode, when designers were required to create a dress for the My Scene Barbie collection, he won the “All Dolled Up” challenge. Verreos appeared as an audition judge, guest judge, and guest commentator on several seasons of Project Runway and its spin-offs after competing as a contestant in Season 2. Verreos was asked to be a mentor for the first season of Project Runway in 2013, along with fellow Project Runway alumni Mondo Guerra and Anya Ayoung-Chee: Within the Gunn. Under the Gunn, hosted by Tim Gunn, followed the mentors as they managed, coached, and directed 15 competing designers. Designer Oscar Garcia-Lopez and his mentor, Verreos, were named season winners by judges Heidi Klum and Neil Patrick Harris at the conclusion of a highly competitive season.
