In the year 2000, she worked as a presenter for The Medical Channel. She began working as a presenter and reporter for BBC London News in 2001. When Emily Maitlis went on maternity leave in March 2004, she took over as the show’s main presenter.

She was the word pronouncer for the first series of BBC One’s Hard Spell, a spelling bee for children.
