Before, Sarah served as a multimedia journalist for WAOW in Wausau for 2 1/2 years. She worked on everything from Wausau’s snowiest winter on record, the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Crisis, and presidential visits to Wisconsin.
Sarah is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She grew up playing soccer and exploring the Sandia Mountains. Additionally, she earned a B.A. in Communications Across Borders from the University of Redlands’ Johnston Center for Integrative Studies and an M.S. in Journalism from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism (Fight On!).
During her time in school, Sarah studied abroad for a year in Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, and Cuba. She also served for Annenberg Media doing everything from broadcast to radio and social media/digital journalism.
When she is not reporting, you can find Sarah outside paddle boarding, cross country skiing, running, exploring new places to eat in Milwaukee, or walking her rescue dog Lambeau (yes, as in Lambeau Field). Additionally, Sarah is also an avid US women’s soccer fan.
