Tamala started her broadcasting journey working for Time magazine in 1993, eventually working in the Washington, D.C. bureau. She started working for ABC News as a White House correspondent in 2001.
From ABC News, she moved to Washington D.C. as the general correspondent appearing on World News Tonight and Good Morning America.
