2. Sip Sparingly: Too much tipple is a no-no – moderation is key.

3. Smoke Signals: No smoking, folks. It’s bad for your health, and clearly, your happiness too.

4. Sweet Slumber: Ah, the beauty of a good night’s sleep. Embrace it, and you’ll fend off those blues.

5. Get Moving: Exercise, people! Even if your idea of exercise is lifting the TV remote, it counts.

6. Stand Up: Less sitting, more standing. Your couch won’t miss you.

7. Social Butterfly: Meet your friends – it’s time to bring back that charming social butterfly in you.

The participants were split into three categories based on their lifestyle: Intermediate, favorable, and unfavorable. Those in the intermediate group were 41% less likely to get cozy with depression compared to the unlucky unfavorable ones. But the cherry on top? Those in the favorable group were 57% less likely to dive into the depths of despair. Now that’s a win-win!

But wait, what causes depression in the first place? The National Health Service says there’s no one-size-fits-all answer. It’s like a mixtape of factors that can put you on the path to gloomsville.
