The first single from J’s third album, Raydiation, is titled “One Wish.” The Darkchild-produced track, which was released in July 2005, became a national hit and reached its highest position on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart on January 17, 2006. It became Beam J’s most memorable single to arrive at the Main 20. In particular, Burial sampled the song for his song Archangel from his second and most recent album, Untrue.
His highest-charting solo single to date was single, which was released on October 31, 2005, in the United Kingdom. His first hit in the top 30 was “One Wish,” which peaked at number 26. Ray J Whitney Houston
The coroner determined that Whitney Houston died of “accidental drowning” on February 11, 2012. When Houston died, Ray was in San Diego and arrived at the Beverly Hilton at the same time that paramedics and police arrived. He forced his way into the suite before being restrained after hearing one of the officers make a “disrespectful comment” about Houston. Ray didn’t talk about her death at first, but on February 17, 2012, he told US Weekly that he had lost a “close friend” while the “world had lost an icon.” He was “very distraught” and “disconnected,” according to his sister Brandy, and it was “a very hard time in his life.” In Houston’s final years, Ray J and Houston became very close, raising the possibility of a romantic relationship.

Ray also hints toward Kanye West with the lyrics “But now baby chose to go West”. The song also makes reference to the sex tape he made with Kardashian, which launched her career as a reality star.
Ray J Documentary
He and Kanye West went to the premiere of the documentary The Greatest Lie Ever Sold, which looked into the Black Lives Matter financial controversy and was directed by conservative commentator Candace Owens. Owens had long backed Ray J’s claims about the sex tape he and Kim had made against the Kardashians.
