Fox 5 morning meteorologist Tucker Barnes was born in Washington areas as Tucker Griffin Barnes. He has been working as a weather forecaster and on-air meteorologist on Fox 5 Morning News and Good Day DC and has become an important personality for Fox 5 channel.

He’s won an Emmy award for his work and he grew up in the Washington area.

Tucker’s love for the weather started when he was just five years old. He would give weather forecasts to his kindergarten class! He’d seemed curious about the weather from an early age. He also recited the forecasts to his classmates in kindergarten. The young weather reporter continued to do the same, this time among his high school faculty comrades who were a bit mature.

To extend his understanding of the meteorological climate, Barnes attended the University of California, Berkeley. He enrolled at the University of Maryland, College Park after graduating with a degree in meteorology, to reinforce his knowledge of meteorology. He is also a member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS).

At the time, he was in his early 30s and he diligently worked for the station not taking into consideration the fact that he was not earning any payments for his services there.

As a result, Fox 5 finally took him in as a significant employee, and in November 2003 and he started working under a payroll. He has been the chief weather forecaster and on-air meteorologist on Fox 5 Morning News and Good Day DC for over 15 years since then.

Fox 5 must be like Barnes’ second home because this is where he met his life partner with whom he began a family. In addition, he’s appreciated by other Fox employees for his kindness, jokes, and excellent services.
