He is the son of Chief Ibukun Olufunto, and Omolara Oluwayemisi Ojosipe. His brother Towa Ojosipe, also known as Tee Josh, is a rising musician. He studied System Engineering at the University of Lagos and graduated in 2013. Since the days of Mo’Hits and Mavin Records, he has been touring with Wande Coal.

Wande began singing in his church’s teen choir. As a dancer, he got his start in the Nigerian entertainment industry. In 2006, he was signed to Don Jazzy’s Mo’ Hits Records. On the singles “Loke,” “tonosibe,” and “why me” from D’banj’s Rundown/Funk you up album, he made an appearance. He is signed to Mo’ Hits Records, is a member of the Mo’ Hits allstars, and he was a big part of the CV (Curriculum Vitae) album that was released. One reviewer called “Ololufe,” his first single from the CV album, “one of the greatest love songs ever written by a Nigerian.” Mushin To Mo’Hits, Coal’s debut album, was widely received in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
